La inceputul fiecarui an scolar, in septembrie, 'SCOALA DE LIMBA ROMANA din Kitchenerare posibilitatea de a oferi cursuri de Limba romana cu credite eleviilor claselor de liceu 9-12 si adultilor. Cursurile sunt oferite prin "Inspectoratul Scolar Catolic" si aprobate de Ministerul Educatiei.
Aceasta oportunitate ofera liceenilor posibilitatea de o obtine credite cu usurinta, vorbind o limba cunoscuta de ei deja, si este un pas inainte pentru  recunoasterea si integrarea comunitatii romanesti in societatea canadiana.
Pentru a putea initia acest program, este obligatorie inscrierea a minimum 25 de elevi la fiecare inceput de an scolar. Deoarece numarul elevilor interesati in acest curs a fost sub limita impusa de Minister, programul cu credite nu a putut fi demarat nici in acest an.

CLASSES AVAILABLE FOR SECONDARY PROGRAM  

The International language secondary program is offered to day secondary school students and adults requiring language credits towards a secondary school diploma. All courses follow Ministry of Education guidelines.   

  • Secondary school credit courses are available to high school students and adults working on their diploma;  
  • Classes are held once a week (3 hrs) and run September to June   25 students minimum; 

PROGRAM PURPOSE  

INTERNATIONAL LANGUAGES SECONDARY:  

  • To give secondary school students and adults the opportunity to learn a new language;
  • To prepare students for post-secondary studies and careers in the fields of business, trade and communications;
  • To develop student’s training skills for international/global opportunities;

  • Development of social and communication skills that students can use across all disciplines and in daily life;
